Heart of a Servant

As we love people, we are not to love partially, but to truly have the heart of a servant. On the night that Jesus was betrayed, he gathered with his disciples and broke bread with them. Desiring to know which one was the greatest, Jesus instructed them that the greatest is not the one who sits at the head of the table, but rather it is the one who serves. As disciples of Jesus, we are to be servants of other people. "For just as the Son of Man did not come to serve, but to be served, and to give his life as a ransom for many..."
