Week 4: The Genealogy of Jesus

God promised that Abraham's descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky. He promised David that his kingdom would never end. In these 42 generations that Matthew lists, we finally see the fulfillment of these promises through the birth of this baby, the long-awaited Jesus Christ.
