When we think of prayer, we often think of the physical act of speaking to God. We approach Him with thanksgiving, we present our requests, and we lift up the heavy things on our hearts and the lives of those around us. How often do we think of prayer as just listening? In 1 Samuel, we see Samuel in this conversation with the Lord, and in the most pivotal moment, we see Samuel say, "speak, Lord, for your servant is listening."
